Emergency dam is the key to solve all of your problems. Again you can use pumps instate of gravity to control the overloads of treatment works.
Thank you,

How about 'Sludge treatment'? If you are interested in, Please visit to www.bluewin.kr for world unique technology ELODE system.
ELODE system is
1. No Competitor! in the World for Sludge Dewatering~
2. 30%wt (70%ds) Guarantee! for most of WWTP sludge characteristics.
3. 0.25kWh/liter water removed! (Lowest Energy Consumption)!
4. 12months Recovery of Investment (Faster ROI)
5. World Lowest Operating Expenditure!
6. World Lowest Capital Expenditure!
It is very Simple Flow sheet combined with Beltpress/Decanter/Thickener/Screwpress/other mechanical machine+ELODE+NVD(Natural Ventilation Dryer)--> Cakeout less 30%wt.
Total Energy consumption less 150kWh/system.
Throughput: 1000~1200kg @18~20%ds,
Daily 24hours full automation system with no need operator or worker.
Now we are looking for an leading business partner who’s interested in “Wastewater Sludge Dewatering, Sludge Reduction or Sludge renewable energy”

construct Balancing/ emergency dam, this it will help to control incoming flow. The water before reach the WWTWs inlet flow into emergency/balancing dam.

Hello,
If you are talking about the water treatment line and urban wastewater, you have some solutions like : biofiltration, IFAS/MBBR technologies and also MBR which are compact solutions. The advantage of IFAS/MBBR and MBR is that you can "reuse" the existing plant by increasing the biomass quantity (sludge concentration) and in the case of the MBR, you do not use anymore the secondary calrifiers. Some solutions with aerated granular sludge are also proposed.
For the sludge treatment line, you can apply Advanced Anaerobic Digestion (AAD) if you already have an AD unit with sludge thermal hydrolysis upstream AD unit.

It is beneficial to the overall operation of WWTP to separate the solids from the liquid and use the solids in an energy system such as biomass gasification. The solids are disposed of and the liquid can be treated more economically.

If the main treatment is based on the activated sludge (AS) process, then we retrofit upgrade it without extension to advanced advanced activated sludge (AAS) resulting in 2 - 3 times more biosludge (MLSS) in the existing basins to handle 2 - 3 times higher organic loads (BOD, COD, ... as kg/d) at the design F/M (food-to-micro-organisms ratio). This may require additional aeration capacity. Also the clarifiers may need a retrofit upgrade as to handle higher hydraulic (flow rate Q) and solids loads MLSS x (Q + Qr). Of course adequate process automation would be needed as well for best performance.

A routine disluging it can helps, in line with enough drying beds.
