Vision Statement
The vision of the Pennsylvania Rural Water Association is to be the leader among utility associations providing services and benefits that exceed membership needs and expectations.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Pennsylvania Rural Water Association is to work cooperatively within the industry to support not only its members but all the water and wastewater utilities throughout the Commonwealth with professional technical support, certified training, legislative representation, and other valuable services and benefits.
About PRWA
Unique as a member-supported, non-profit, non-government organization, the Pennsylvania Rural Water Association has established and maintains a reputation for integrity and technical excellence by providing leadership in the operation, maintenance, and management of systems responsible for providing safe drinking water and wastewater management - community, industrial, or commercially operated. PRWA's "hands-on" approach to providing state-of-the-art systems-level technical assistance and training enables its members access to services that represent the forefront of water and wastewater system technology, providing them the opportunity for self-improvement in maintaining safe and efficient operations.
As the voice of Pennsylvania's rural water and wastewater utilities, PRWA represents the collective interests of its membership to various state and national government agencies, enabling even the smallest system to benefit from a united effort based on strength in numbers.
