Sometimes we add alkaline to feed water to control the pH of product water. The amount is very low. Imagineca 200 lit tank contains 100 gram of NaOH and dose this material in feed water. The memberane literary removes most of it. I think there is no issue for that. You csn adjust the dosing pump to a very low injection rate.

If you have problem with the acidic pH of the product water, you can adjust the TDS by mixing a stream after pretreatment to adjust it to potable standards. Another way is adding food grade calsium carbonate to the permiate by doding pump.
