Do you use automatic control for chemical dosing of PAC for the total phosphorus ( TP ) removal?
Please share experience. Thanks.

Hi
Phosphate normally can be removed by bio methods, you may use PAC or Aluminum sulfate for clarifying the wastewater, but after clarification contains foaming material, it means that the phosphate did not remove. But if you want to do the dosing process, in my experience, you should do it by testing the wastewater and some lab experiments to be able to calculate the dosing range.

Can you give us more information as to the plant layout and specific application? Normally, a cold lime softener, but if this in an area in the facility that is well down stream. I don’t believe I have ever seen removal of PO4 using simple PAC blend. (Also give use the make up of the PAC product.
