I am reaching out to inquire about your software solutions for designing drinking water treatment plants.
In my work, I am seeking a software tool that can assist in the design and optimization of various components and processes related to potable water production. Specifically, I am interested in a solution that can help with:
• Designing raw water storage tanks
• Coagulation-flocculation-settling tanks
• Sand filters, including sand or activated carbon loading
• Dual-media filters and cartridge filters
• Chemical reagent tanks for coagulants, calcium hypochlorite, and calcium carbonate
• Selecting an appropriate treatment process based on water analysis results
I am particularly interested in a solution that not only sizes these components but also provides recommendations based on water analysis results.
Could you please provide detailed information about your software's features, as well as pricing and support options? I would also appreciate any demonstrations or consultations that could help me better understand how your solutions might meet my needs.
Thank you in advance for your assistance and response.
Best regards,

Hi, I'm not aware of this kind of software, there is some online templates that will give you information the same that you would find in design handbooks (I prefer the latter).
I would recommend to build your own books and source database and then to have a work spreadsheat with comments on each design step (range, values, settings, etc.).
On the hydraulics side, you can work with software like OpenFoam for 3D simulation or IBER for 2D, both are simple to use and you will able to check flow patterns and mixing compliance on process like coagulation or flocculation (filtration is quite hard to simulate).
For equipment selection you will find on-line tools for pumps and other equipment sizing made by suppliers (i.e. Grundfos).
I hope it could help, bye.
